In Hong Kong, a replacement passport may be issued only after 15 working days from the date you submit the affidavit of loss 3.
After you return on a travel document
If you used a travel document to get back to the Philippines, bring the original travel document and a notarized affidavit of explanation when you apply for your new passport. If you lost that travel document too, bring your travel records from the Bureau of Immigration and an affidavit of explanation 2.
Repeat losses and help
Renewing a passport that has been lost often needs the same police report, notarized affidavit of loss and ₱350 penalty. The DFA may ask for more documents to confirm citizenship, identity and lack of travel restrictions 2.
